March 2026 EPC Contract

USTL Awarded Major 220 kV Transmission Lines Package by CSPTCL

Unique Structures & Towers Limited (USTL) has been awarded a significant turnkey EPC contract by Chhattisgarh State Power Transmission Company Limited (CSPTCL) for the construction of 220 kV DCDS transmission lines from Dhamdha to Gendpur and Bemetara, with a combined route length of approximately 109 kilometres. The project scope encompasses complete turnkey execution including survey, tower manufacturing, foundation works, erection, stringing, and commissioning.

USTL Secures Two Railway Electrification Contracts with South East Central Railway

USTL has secured two contracts from South East Central Railway for the upgradation of existing 1x25 kV electric traction systems to 2x25 kV Auto Transformer feeder systems in the Bilaspur Division of Chhattisgarh. The first contract covers the BSP–TLD section (74 RKM / 227 TKM) and the second covers the RIG–JSG section (70 RKM / 280 TKM). These contracts mark a significant expansion of USTL's railway electrification portfolio as a CORE approved vendor.

USTL Crosses 4,000 km Milestone in Transmission Line Construction

USTL has crossed a significant milestone, having constructed over 4,000 kilometres of high-voltage transmission lines across 15+ states since its founding in 1987. Over 500 kilometres of this total has been constructed in difficult hilly and forested terrains. With over 1,50,000 MT of galvanized steel structures supplied and 100+ EPC contracts delivered, USTL continues to strengthen India's power transmission infrastructure.

India's Power Sector Targets $500 Billion Investment Over Next Seven Years

India's power sector is set for massive expansion, with the government projecting approximately $500 billion in investment over the next seven years. Of this, $68.2 billion is earmarked specifically for strengthening and expanding the transmission and distribution network. Peak power demand is projected to reach 446 GW by FY2034-35, up from 242 GW in FY2025-26, necessitating significant grid infrastructure upgrades.

Unique Structures & Towers Limited's landmark urban transmission monopole project in Indore has been featured in an official documentary by Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company Limited (MPPTCL). The project, executed in partnership with Valmont Industries, Inc., delivered one of India's first urban transmission monopole corridors — demonstrating how monopole technology enables high-voltage power transmission through dense city environments with a smaller footprint.
